Classes in Merentha

There are currently 22 different player classes to chose from in Merentha. A class is your chosen profession (often called guilds on other MUDs) . When you begin Merentha you begin as an 18 year old child ready to enter the world. It is now, when you are in the game that you must choose a class. You don't have to decide right away though. You can play and even gain a few levels before you are required to join a class.

Monk

Priest
Healer
Scholar
Shaman
Healer
There are two types of Healers in Merentha. Those which study though the way of prayer, and those which study through the way of magic. (Mage)Healer - The Way of Life. The Healer uses the powers of life energy to heal and protect. Seen by others as a 'weak' profession, Healers are much in demand in times of war. Also called the White Hand. You may become this class in the Mage Hall. It is located west of the square in Cabeiri, in an old tree. (Monk)Healer - Unlike wizards of the same name, monk Healers call upon the Gods of ancient times to help them heal and protect. While not as powerful as wizard Healers at magic, they are by far better fighters. You may become this class in the Monk Hall. It is located just east of the town square in Cabeiri.
