About Merentha

What can I say about Merentha? Merentha is a MUD, an online roleplaying text adventure game.

We first developed, hidden on a machine at a university. In early 1997, about a year after we came online, we went offline as our host was no longer available.

It was at that time that I received a copy of Merentha. Before that time I was just a coder and someone else was the admin. After a bit of searching we went live once again on November 21st, 1997. And now I was the head admin. Since then we celebrate November 21st as Merentha's birthday.

I have taken to write a yearly review of how I saw Merentha and pointing out some of the more eventful moments as I saw them.
